If you have a backyard, and enjoy entertaining outdoors,
then it is an absolute must to have a garden barbecue. Whether this is a small
portable, charcoal barbecue, a portable gas barbecue, a smoker or a massive,
built-in garden barbecue, the backyard just does not seem complete without a
garden barbecue arrangement of some sort.

The ultimate garden barbecue is, of course, the built-in
barbecue then. Just as people tend to congregate in the kitchen at parties, so hosts
and visitors alike enjoy congregating around the garden barbecue, soaking up
the smells of barbecue cooking and sharing a drink and a few words with
friends. While a small, portable barbecue will do, there is no substitute for
the built-in garden barbecue, and the grill is just the beginning of your
outdoor garden barbecue masterpiece.

In many places today, the garden barbecue is part of an
outdoor kitchen area which, just like the indoor kitchen, provides everything
you need for barbecue cooking at its finest.

Designing your outdoor garden barbecue area is limited only
by your budget and your imagination. Sure, the Outdoor grilling surface takes

pride of place and you may find that you want two or three outdoor grilling
surfaces rather than just one, for those big gatherings and parties. Just like
in your kitchen, your outdoor garden barbecue kitchen needs to have storage
space for barbecue tools, for barbecue sauces, and of course spices and
marinades which you can add to your barbecue cooking to make it unique and
special.

Not only does your built-in garden barbecue increase the
enjoyment you will have in your own backyard as you entertain, but it also can
add value to your home when you come to sell. And because it is permanent,
buyers will see a large, inclusive garden barbecue kitchen area as a huge asset
to their purchase, and most will be prepared to pay more because your
beautifully designed outdoor garden barbecue area is an opportunity for them to
fulfil their barbecue cooking dreams with their friends and family.

So if you spend a lot of time barbecue cooking and
entertaining outside, consider making your portable barbecue set into an
outdoor garden barbecue masterpiece. You’ll be investing in your friends and
family, your own enjoyment, your barbecue cooking prowess, and the value of
your home for the future.

Barbeque cooking is an American tradition. Each year, statistics show that at least 90% of families attend at least one barbeque party or celebration. About 40% of families delight in throwing parties that center around the idea of barbequing. With statistics like that, one must wonder why barbequing is such a popular event and tradition.

First, barbeque cooking or Outdoor grilling allows you to create a meal that is unmatched by any other type of cooking. The grilled smell and taste will perk up even the pickiest meat eater.

A variety of meats and side dishes are used when barbeque cooking. Traditionally, families cook pork, beef, and fish on their grills. When visiting your local grocery store, look for meats that are specifically cut and packaged for barbequing. If you do not find pre packaged meats, then chances are spices, marinates, and kits for grilling are somewhere near by.

Traditional side dishes include potato salad, beans, and coleslaw. These sides work well with the variety of meats available and are easy to prepare and store until it is time to eat.

Your traditional condiment bar should include pickles, relish, and onions.

Different types of barbeque cooking grills will present different types of flavors. Charcoal and smoker grills present a natural “smoked” flavor which is one of the most known tastes of barbequing. Smokers even allow you to control slight changes in the favor of the meat by using different types of woods.  Alternatively, propane outdoor grilling  can cook their meals faster, but still have a grilled flavor.

Some Barbeque cooking grills have the ability to come with many different types of cooking surfaces. These different cooking surfaces include a BBQ surface, a flat grill, and a ribbed grill. Some grills even offer these types of surfaces as none stick, which allow you to cook a whole array of foods that you would not be able to cook outdoor grilling   otherwise. You will be able to cook your whole meal, including side dishes if you plan correctly. Some gas grills even contain a Wok type surface for cooking pasta and rise dishes, or a full barbeque rotisserie set that allows you to Barbeque rotisserie chicken.

Another reason barbeque cooking is so popular is the fact that it gives you a reason to hold a party or celebration.

Outdoor parties not only allow your guests to be present during the cooking of the meal, but also give them the opportunity to be with friends.

Themed parties are always fun for your family and guests. Festive decorations can be found at any local party or general store. You may also consider purchasing decorations that can be stored and reused at a different time, such as reusable tablecloths and Tiki torches. Give your clambake a beach theme by adding tropical music and you may even consider adding some sand.

Finally, barbeque cooking is popular because it can be considered a hobby as well. Barbequing, like anything else in life, takes time and practice. It can be fun to play and experiment with different techniques and recipes. Once you have developed a like for outdoor grilling , then you can focus on creating your own variations on traditional recipes and ideas.

Barbeque cooking is typically thought of as a summer event, but some diehard fans of barbeque cooking will not think twice about breaking out their barbeque grills right in the middle of winter.

Almost everybody loves a barbecue. All around the world,
every Saturday afternoon, you can see men gathered around barbecues in
backyards, talking, laughing, drinking and cooking their favourite summer meal.
Yet Barbecue cooking is much more than simply cooking a meal. It is a time of
fellowship, a wonderful time for men to spend time talking with other men,
discussing issues like barbecue sauce recipes, how dark it should be cooked,
and the many other issues of manly life!

While there are a huge variety of barbecue cooking mediums
available to barbecue chef’s, such as the electric grill, gas, charcoal, or
smoker, there is something unique and wonderful about the barbecue flavour that
you can obtain from Barbeque cooking on your outdoor grill.

But the forgotten meat in all this is lamb! Cooking lamb on
your outdoor grill is not something that everyone thinks about, with most
concentrating on beef, chicken or even exotic meats like kangaroo! In most
barbecue cooking, beef or chicken or even seafood are considered mainstays on
the barbecue cooking menu. However, cooking lamb on a barbecue can give you
fantastic results, and you are not just limited to lamb chops.

Cooking lamb may involve chops, steaks, sausages, or you can

even roast a full leg of lamb in a barbecue, perhaps utilising a barbecue
rotisserie to keep the lamb turning and to minimise the amount of fat retained
in the meat.  Cooking lamb roast is one
of the best uses for the Barbeque rotisserie I can think of, and there is
little doubt that it is a very healthy way of barbeque cooking.

A plethora of barbecue recipes are available, and anything
you can find that applies to beef will also apply to a lamb chop. In fact, cooking
lamb can yield even better results than beef, because it tends to be extremely
tender when cooked correctly, and it also absorbs beautifully the flavours and
scenes of the outdoor barbecue cooking which we love so much.

Cooking lamb in the form of sausages is also a very viable
alternative for barbecue cooking. Unlike beef, lamb’s light texture can provide
a welcome alternative to some of the heavier beef sausages.

So if you’re looking for a fantastic alternative to beef, one
that is lighter, healthier, yet just as easy to cook on your outdoor grill,
then look no further than lamb. Lamb cooking, the forgotten aspect of barbecue
cooking, could be next big hit at your next neighbourhood barbecue party.

Who doesn’t love outdoor grilling? All around the world,
every Saturday afternoon, people gather outside for barbecue cooking, drinks in
hand, ready to produce a masterpiece of Outdoor grilling.

However, if you have never experienced the joy of outdoor
grilling, the first question you have to face is what sort of outdoor grill to
you by. The inexpensive varieties have fewer features, but you may find that
they’ve offer far less than the other brands on a number of levels not simply
in buttons on the front.

Outdoor grilling involves a specific measurement value of
fuels and cooking power which is called a BTU.  A BTU is the amount of heat needed to raise
water temperature by a degree. This fact may be of little interest to you when
you purchase your outdoor grilling device, but you will want to know that your
outdoor grill will cook quickly and effectively. Quality outdoor grills have a
value of 95 to 100 BTU per square in each.

The next thing to consider for outdoor grilling is the
dimension of the grilling surface, and in this area you are generally better to
purchase something larger rather than small. Another aspect of outdoor grilling
you may want to consider is the type of surface of the grill, with some
preferring flat grills while other barbecue cooking enthusiasts preferring
ribbed grills.

Perhaps the most important aspect of outdoor grilling

selection is in the type of fuel used for your outdoor grill. Barbecue cooking
with different types of fuels yield different results and different unique flavours,
so you need to consider your particular situation before purchasing. For
simplicity an electric grill might be easy, but the gas grill, by far the most
popular, is not only portable but can be set up away from electric power. The
most portable of all is the charcoal grill, and this type of outdoor grilling
can yield  sensational flavours for your
barbecue cooking.

Another aspect of outdoor grilling to consider when
purchasing is the ease with which the grill can be cleaned. Gas grills are
probably the best in this regard, and charcoal grills will tend to be much
messier and more difficult to clean.

The safety and security aspect of outdoor grilling must not
be overlooked when you purchase. The charcoal grill is very good from this
aspect because it does not use gas, however care needs to be taken when dealing
with the hot coals.

As you begin your outdoor grilling journey, I hope these
tips are helpful in guiding you to the correct outdoor grill that suits your
needs. I’m sure that you will quickly find the barbecue cooking and outdoor
grilling will begin to form a large part of your summer meal preparation, and
also provide many wonderful hours with friends and family enjoining the sounds,
smells and flavors of beautiful outdoor grilling.

Charcoal outdoor grilling devices contain hot embers and fireplace when it is in use. Safety should additionally be a serious concern once you are picking out your 1st Charcoal outdoor grilling. When a charcoal outdoor grill falls over, it will send the recent coals flying. Numerous grills for  outdoor grilling also have built in safety options like a water reservoir plus smothering valves. Undoubtedly, after you are cooking with hearth, accidents may happen. In the case which your outdoor grilling gets out of management or become to hot, these safety options will stop potentially dangerous fires. The fire department has much better things to carry out then assist you cook.

1 of the a good amount of noticeable features when using charcoal is a flavor of the food you cook. To cook with charcoal outdoor grilling, you must buy charcoal briquettes and lighter fluid.  Charcoal is a 1 use item, and can have to be discarded once every use. Charcoal may be picked up at your local superstore, gas station, or grocery store, plus is usually pretty inexpensive. Charcoal must be lightweight plus allowed to burn till the charcoal is no longer on fire, but is red embers. The ideal way to get the pile to burn is by stacking it during a pyramid.

While no one likes to dust after outside grilling, it is critical to care for your outside grill if you want it to last it’s intended lifetime. 1 downside you may face is the legal truth which Charcoal outdoor grilling devices stay hot for a dull period of time.  When looking into different outdoor grilling features, you
may be faced with what seems like a foreign language. How are you suppose to
pick the Garden barbeque outdoor grilling that is best for you if you do not
understand what you are reading? While the language used when describing outdoor
grilling will not get any easier to read, understanding what the majority if
what it means will help you make an informed decision about your garden
barbeque.

Perhaps one of the most important things you should consider
is the fuel type. Charcoal outdoor grills are one of the most used types of outdoor
grilling. Charcoal outdoor grills utilize charcoal and lighter fluid to heat up
and cook your food. Charcoal outdoor grilling comes in all shapes and sizes,
and vary in cost. Charcoal requires you to buy charcoal and lighter fluid each
time you cook with it. It must also be cleaned out each time. Charcoal outdoor
grilling barbeques come in small sizes, which are ideal for apartment dwellers
or people with small homes, rather than a garden barbeque. Once you have used
your charcoal outdoor grilling, you can clean it, and store it away. Propane outdoor
grilling barbeques are also useful for someone in small areas, since they can
come in smaller sizes. Propane outdoor grills use propane gas to cook your
food. If you want to quickly cook foods while still maintaining a outdoor
grilling flavor, you may want to consider Propane outdoor grills.

Natural gas outdoor grilling barbeques are a little more
complicated than smaller outdoor grills, so they require more room. Natural gas
outdoor grilling is meant to hook up directly to your home’s natural gas line,
and can cook meat in record time. Smoker outdoor grillings are used when flavor
is the number one priority. Smoker outdoor grills are ideal for the garden
barbeque, because they use wood to slow cook your meat. Flavor can be
controlled by using different types of woods.

BTU is the measure of the amount of cooking power the outdoor
grilling barbeque has. Simple math will be needed in determining the amount of
heat that your outdoor grilling produces. Take the amount of space available
for cooking (typically measured by square inch) and divide it by the total
amount of BTU’s. Ideally you will want at least 95 to 100 BTU’s per square inch
of cooking space. So for example, if you have a Outdoor grilling with 50,000
BTU’s and 450 square inches of cooking space, then you will be receiving about
111 BTU’s of cooking power per square inch. Anything less, and you may want to
consider a different outdoor grilling.

The next thing you will want to consider is the cooking
surfaces. How much space does it have? Will you be able to cook for just
yourself, or you entire family? Depending on your situation, you may want to
consider a larger garden barbeque or smaller outdoor grilling.

What about cleaning? Does your outdoor grilling have
anything type of features that allow you to clean it easier? Some outdoor grills
offer such things as a cleaning door, which allows you to easier remove the
used fuels. This is handy if you decide on a charcoal and smoker outdoor
grilling. Some outdoor grilling devices have a none stick surface, which allows
you to cook without food sticking, and allows for very easy cleanup.

Another feature some outdoor grilling offers is the ability
to control different areas of your outdoor grilling with different
temperatures. This is typically controlled by knobs on the front, similar to an
oven. This allows you to cook different types of foods at the same time. If you
want to cook a whole meal on the outdoor grilling, this can be possible.

Starting your outdoor grilling has changed drastically with
each type of garden barbeque. Smokers and Charcoal burners require you to light
the media, the wait for it to burn out and turn to embers before cooking. This
can take anywhere from 20 to 45 minutes. Natural gas and propane gar outdoor
grilling can be started instantly, wither by lighting the burners with a
lighter, or by a knob on the front, which is attached to a small hammer that
slams into a crystal, causing enough spark to ignite the fuel.

If you are new to Barbeque cooking, chances are you have run into some problems when it comes to barbequing. Garden barbeque cooking, like anything else, takes practice. Learning from your mistakes, as well as the mistakes of other will help you learn quickly.

Before you begin outdoor grilling, spray your outdoors cooking area with a nonstick cooking spray. This will prevent your meat from sticking when you are rotating or removing it. If your meat sticks and tears, you will lose a large amount of juice, and your meat may dry out.

Never place food on the grill until the temperature is correct. The fluctuation in temperatures will cause your food to dry out or burn. If you are using a Garden barbeque charcoal grill, make sure that the coals are completely gray before putting the meat on the grill. This will allow the temperatures to level out, and the majority of the lighter fluid to burn off.

Cooking with charcoal lighter fluid can be good or bad. The lighter fluid will cause the food you are cooking to taste different then with other types of grills. Alternatively, attempting to not use lighter fluid may cause a lot of frustration due to the fact that charcoal can be difficult if not impossible to light without lighter fluid.

You must properly prepare the meat you are barbeque cooking, before cooking it. You should never attempt to cook meat on a grill when it is still frozen, or even partially frozen. Thaw your meat by sitting it out about 12 to 24 hours before you plan on cooking it, or by thawing it in a microwave. If you meat is thawed, but in the refrigerator, set it out long enough for the meat to get to room temperature.

Once meat is cooked, never put it back in on the same plate you had it on when it was raw. This could cause the spread of many unwanted illnesses. Do not handle cooked meat with the same utensils that you used when it was raw.

Never poke you meat while it is cooking. Poking holes in meat will cause the juice inside to leak out into the bottom of the grill.  Not only will this make your food dry and unappealing in the end, but it also could potentially ruin your garden barbeque grill. At the very least, it will cause a buildup of unwanted grease and juices on your grill, which will make cleanup harder.

Once the meat is outdoor grilling, try not to open the lid to many times. Each time you open the lid, you change the temperature in the grill. The constant change in temperature and the air flow will cause your meat to dry up quickly.

Remember that the higher the heat is not always the better. While it is ok to quickly cook food, turning the heat up will just cause the meat to dry up and potentially burn.

While using tin foil or aluminum foil will make cleaning easier, it will cause your food to have more of a fried taste then a grilled taste.

If you are planning on using your favorite garden barbeque sauce, be sure to wait as long as possible to put it on the meat. Putting barbeque sauce on to early will not only potentially cause your meat to dry out, but it could also burn and ruin your Outdoor grilling experience!

We bought a propane grill last summer. It has been sitting outdoors with a grill cover on it all winter. How do I go about cleaning it and getting it ready to use again?

wire brush the surfaces after heating up to full temp to burn of gunk.
then blow of debris…….heat up then spray rice brand oil to stop rust and cover with foil to store….

if your to use it, heat up again and brush peanut or rice oil on to stop sticking when cooking….repeat the above when finished.(scrape and wire brush, blow, then oil grill/plate and store). never use water.

note; when cooking always use rice bran / or grape seed oil,(its almost smokeless too and same benefits as olive but cheaper) as its is
safer than hydrogenised veg oil (canola which give cancer).

please..google and print off…1..food additives code breaker, from allergyforum.com,.. and 2,sweet poison 56, and.,.3,aspartame-the shocking story of the world’s bestselling sweetener. and 4,hydrogenised veg oil ….and read this material up and pin #1 to pantry.

I’m looking for a barbeque beef recipe made with roast beef. Its something you would get at a carnival or fair. I think it has horseradish in it but not positive. Any one have any recipes like this one?
The recipe i’m looking for is with shredded beef that has a red sauce and is spicy and you put it on a roll.

Well the one I use doesnt have horseradish, but you could try it

Cook your beef, shred and set to the side
Take kraft original bbq sauce, and pour desired amount into a sauce pan
take hot sauce, and measure about a tablespoon or six good shakes into the bbq sauce. Add salt, pepper, and garlic powder in. Heat on medium until it bubbles. Then take a teaspoon of grape jelly and whisk it into the sauce. Heat on low until it gets very thick. Then, scoop it all out into the bowl where your beef is. Shake until coated throughly. Let cool a bit and voila…

You have BBQ BEEF
