@Supportahol: Why …
@Supportahol: Why would they get sick? They cooked the outside proper and that is all that matters for a fresh solid cut of beef. You can eat beef “raw” if fresh and seared properly on the outside.

@breezebro I for one DO eat my pork rare, nice and pink but not fleshy, and I like all my beef or lamb like the steak cooked in this video. If you buy your meat from a respectable meat market and not the super market you don’t have to worry about the nasty germs!

@onlyfornintendo Yes, I know, it’s 160 degrees. And if you cook it to an internal temp of 160 degrees it’s not even pink anymore. You know that real good tasting part where it’s seared… that’s the cooked part. If you want to eat it raw and call it “rare” go ahead. Do you eat chicken rare, or pork rare?

A GOOD cut of steak …
A GOOD cut of steak should be eaten rare. Just the way the BBQ boys made it. It brings out the flavor of the meat. Some people are a bit too accustomed to fully cooked food. For those who are, try to keep an open mind and try your steak rare, it’s more tender and flavorful than fully cooked steak.
