I need a theme for my mega 16th birthday party barbeque in my garden this summer..100 people… mostly family?
i’m a girl….about 30 of my friends will be invited and 60 family and family friends. Its during summer and straight after exams so something that doesn’t require too much effort and is slightly subtle???
- preferably not a colour theme

You can get tons of supplies at the dollarstore, or party store. They have these neat invitations, its a message in a bottle, with the invite inside, which are awesome. Be sure to remind guests to bring hats and sunglasses if the weather is hot.
You can decorate with beach balls, coconuts, fake palm trees, buckets and shovels, flowers, seashells, bowls of fruit, a water fountian, torches (for night time).
Buy those hawiian flower lays and grass skirts for everyone to wear.
Play hawiian music, play with water guns and water balloons. Rent a foam or bubble machine
Serve fruit salad, iced tea, lemonaide, fruit smoothies, maybe some steak, chicken or shrimp kabobs.
