how to build a simple smoker. steps to get your smoker/cooker in the back yad to cook on!!! just a how to in a series by no means a pro just a hobby! wanting to share what i learned just trying it! shout out to Forrest from the carolinas thanks for your help!

    @evilkevin232 Just simple tools will get your project complete. As far as a welder if you dont use it much get your self a cheap one at the swap meet or garage sales even craigs list i got mine on there from a guy in alameda.

    Ya you are probably right. I’ll have to shop around and see how much a metal shop would charge if I had most of the parts. I would think most metal shops would know how to build one.

    this particular one cost me 10$ on C.L. you should just try it, look around there are plenty of hands out of work looking for some extra cash. ;)

    This is awesome! I bought a small electric smoker recently and already want a custom large smoker. I saw units like yours on craigslist for well over $800. I don’t have any building skills unfortunately so I may have to buy mine.

    If I could find the tanks do you think a metal shop would build me one?? I know those tanks don’t cost a lot.
